Introducing Zeitbyte’s New Branding and Redesign…
We’re excited to tell you about the new websites we launched in July, all with new branding for our online video service offerings. In place of our former website, we now have four distinct online destinations that we believe will better meet the needs of our current and future clients:
- At Zeitbyte.com, you’ll now find a corporate site dedicated to showcasing the full spectrum of our online video capabilities, as well as providing information on company mission, history, leadership, and more.
- Zeitbyte Video Productions (www.zbvideoproductions.com) is now home to our professional webcasting and video production solutions.
- Everything you need to know about our professional file conversion and physical transfer services can be found at the new Zeitcoder (www.zeitcoder.com) site.
- Zeitcaster (www.zeitcaster.com) features information on our hosting and live streaming solutions, including our proprietary zeitPlayer and self-provisioning webcast service.
Explained Zeitbyte’s Director of Operations/Co-Founder Kevin Brail, “By breaking these services out, we hope that our customers are better able to quickly find the services they need.”
The initiative was prompted by a need to specialize in the rapidly growing online video space. According to Zeitbyte President/Co-Founder Gary Kahn, “As online video has matured, our clients have become more sophisticated. The ‘one-stop shop’ approach of our old website was making it harder for us to speak to their needs. By breaking the sites into more-focused brands, we can better address their specific situations and project requirements.”
Among the new site features is an extensive support section that includes FAQs, a glossary of online video terminology, interactive tools, a site-wide search, and troubleshooting tips for webcast viewers. Another new addition is Video Bytes, Zeitbyte’s new blog (www.zeitbyte.com/blog). Accessible via all four sites, the blog is designed to offer online video tips and advice, as well as the latest news about the company’s promotions and product enhancements. “Our blog covers all aspects of our business and is a great way for people to learn about how online video technology is being applied,” said Kahn.
Added Brail, “Hopefully, the new sites give our customers more detailed information about our services and our customer-centric philosophy.”
The rebranding and redesign effort is the third such initiative since Zeitbyte entered the online video space in 2006. “It’s been a fun ride, but I feel like the best is yet to come,” said Kahn. Looking to Zeitbyte’s future, he added, “We look forward to a more TV-like experience for Internet video with greater audience participation. We also hope to see a world less dominated by advertising. We are building a pay-per-view model that we hope will help publishers earn more money while giving audiences a better viewing experience.”
