If you’re having any issues viewing the live stream, please try the following troubleshooting options:
- The webcast may be viewed on either a MAC or a PC, using Internet Explorer 6.0 or above, Firefox 2.0 or above, Safari 4.0 or above, Opera 8.0 or above, or Chrome 1.0 or above. The live video stream requires a Flash plugin, version 10.1 or higher.
- Occasionally, users may experience problems with their connection or processor speed, especially during longer webcasts. Refreshing the page (F5) usually remedies this.
- Live streaming Flash video uses ports that are sometimes blocked by corporate firewalls. If the ports are blocked, you can still view the video, but playback will take longer (30-45 seconds) to begin. If any of the tests fail, talk to your network administrator about possible solutions.
Test for Blocked Firewall ports
- Live streaming video requires a robust connection to the Internet, otherwise you may experience stuttering, buffering, or stops and starts. Our webcasts typically run at about 700 kbps, so you will need a connection speed of 700 kbps or faster.
